Cast or Malleable Iron Thermodynamic Steam Traps, Screwed Type
 
These traps automatically adjust themselves to operate varying steam pressures. They are generally small but have a surprising capacity for discharging condensate.
Because of their small size the traps will not waste steam by radiation. For protection againist dirt and scale, some pipe strainers should be fitted in front of the trap.
